Policemen In Delta Assault Taxi Driver Over N100 Bribe [See Photos]

A taxi driver was forced out of his
vehicle and beaten on Thursday by
policemen allegedly over his refusal
to part way with N100 bribe.
The incident reportedly happened
around Orpiah, Close to Delta State
University.
Eyewitnesses say it’s starting to
become a usual occur. rence for
policemen in the area to assault
‘stubborn’ drivers.
“It happens all the time and there
is no one to report to because the
inspector in charge of Orpiah is
involved too. He and his boys have
been assaulting taxi drivers on this
axis,” another taxi driver told
reporters.
